A conversation with memoirist Hyeseung Song and novelist Ryan Chapman. Both are first-generation Americans born of immigrant families–Song’s parents are Korean and Chapman’s father is Sri Lankan–whose paths to becoming artists and writers are complicated by family financial hardships and cultural expectations. In the Dutcher Community Room at the Saratoga Springs Public Library, at 3 PM, in Saratoga, NY.
