October 7, 2013 Quick Sketch

My friend Erika Adams would do one little painting a day while she was in Vermont this summer, and I want to try to do something similar. My goal is to try to make a little sketch or painting per day-- just a little quickie, and then upload it here and/or on Facebook. Yesterday was a strange day in terms of the weather: sunny one minute, cold and rainy the next. I was in Soho to run an errand and bopped into Aurora, a nice restaurant with a surprisingly good happy hour, and had a glass of wine and some olives and made this sketch:
